Bits and pieces about our service.
- All SATlinQ plans include free time bonus data available between 12.00am midnight and 12.00 midday the following day
- All NIGHTLinQ plans include free time available between the hours of 12.00am midnight and 7.00am the following day.
- Peak time data is used at any time and will be automatically applied to the quoted free times if your free time data is exhausted in a month cycle.
- The peak speed of a NBN satellite is 6 / 1 Mbps however this speed will vary dependent on your location and signal strength.
- There are no charges for excess data. Once all peak time and free time bonus data is used, a customers connection will be downgraded to 128K for the balance of their billing period. To increase speed, customers can choose to purchase a Data Block for the balance of their monthly cycle.
- All customers on account creation recieve 15MB of free web space and 5 free email boxes. BorderNET's new email servers included high grade virus and spam detection. Additional email boxes are available on request.
- Data usage is counted in both directions therefore if a customer uploads 3 GB and downloads 15 GB the connection counts as 18GB.
- Data blocks are available as fill up's and will automatically expire at the end of any monthly period they are purchased in.
- Payment options include credit card and direct debit and are charged monthly in advance. BorderNET has 2 billing cycles on the first and the 15th of each month. Customers will be pro rated from their day of connection to the closest billing date and charged monthly in advance from that date.
- The minimum term for an BorderNET's SATlinQ and NITElinQ connection is 6 months.
Your roadmap to a BorderNET SATlinQ service
Once we have recieved confirmation of your ability to recieve a NBN subsidised service, you will recieve from NBN a form that contains your unique BSL number. Simply sign and return the BSL form via fax, email or snail mail to us along with a standard BorderNET account creation form and we will get you up and surfing the web in no time.
